Fitness Together Opens 29 studios in the last quarter of 2006!

Fitness Together, the world's largest personal training organization, opened 29 studios in the last quarter of 2006, a 16% increase over the same period the previous year. The announcement was made by Fitness Together CEO Rick Sikorski. In all, 91 studios were opened in 2006.

At each, certified personal trainers conduct one-on-one private personal training sessions with clients by appointment only. Costs for training packages vary depending on client needs.

Fitness Together's trainers develop individually customized, results-oriented programs to help clients achieve their goals through weight and resistance training, muscular endurance, muscular training and nutrition counseling. Trainers also guide clients in weight loss management.

"Our growth across the country reinforces our mission of becoming the world's leader in wellness," said Fitness Together CEO Rick Sikorski. "We look forward to opening at least 120 studios in 2007."

• Illinois: Plainfield, Winnetka, Highland Park
• Israel: Yehud

• Michigan: Grand Rapids
• Nebraska: Omaha
• New Jersey: Freehold, Red Bank, Lake Como
• New York: Lake Grove
• North Carolina: Plaza Millwood
• South Carolina: Summerville
• Tennessee: Belle Meade, Knoxville
• Texas: Dallas, San Antonio
• Washington: Woodinville

Three studios opened in New Jersey during the last quarter of 2006. Fitness Together Freehold, which is located at 3585 Route 9 North, Freehold, NJ is owned by Wayne and Cathy Matus and was opened on December 15. Construction of the 1,200-square-foot studio was done by Kimco Contracting. The studio has two fully-equipped private training rooms and a cardiovascular area. Wayne Matus manages the studio.
